Who you are buying from

This store is operated by Kowboj LLC, Rutherford, New Jersey, United States. Throughout these terms, “we” and “us” means Kowboj LLC, and “you” means the person placing an order or using the site. Using shopkowboj.com means you accept what is written here.

Orders

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We can decline or cancel an order, and refund you in full, if an item is out of stock, if a price or description was wrong, or if we suspect fraud. Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice, though a change never applies to an order already placed.

Product information

We describe the balm as accurately as we can, including what it is made of and what it will not do. Photography is lit to show the product honestly, but screens differ and a hand-poured tube varies slightly batch to batch. If what arrives is not what you expected, the returns policy covers you.

This is a cosmetic, not a medicine

Kowboj lip balm is a cosmetic moisturiser. It is not a drug, it is not sun protection, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent anything. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a skin condition, a known allergy, or a persistent problem with your lips, speak to a doctor rather than to a lip balm company.

Allergens and suitability

The balm contains grass-fed beef tallow and beeswax. It is therefore not vegan, not vegetarian, and not suitable if you have a beef or bee-product allergy. We print the full ingredient list on the tube and on the product page so you can decide before you buy. Stop using it and talk to a doctor if you have a reaction.

Payment

Payment is processed by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you enter.

Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.

Our content

The Kowboj name, logo, photography, and the words on this site belong to Kowboj LLC. You are welcome to share and link to them. You may not use them to sell your own product or to suggest we endorse something we do not.

Anything you send us

If you send us a review, a photo, or a suggestion, you keep it, but you give us permission to show it on the site and in our marketing with your first name. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will take it down.

Liability

We stand behind the product, and the returns policy is the practical expression of that. Beyond a refund or replacement of what you bought, our liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the order, to the extent the law allows. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.

Changes

We may update these terms as the business changes. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved.
